CBS Sports announced 14 Big Ten matchups for its 2026 college football schedule, with three games standing out: Michigan State versus unbeaten UCLA in Week 8, Nebraska at Iowa on Black Friday November 27, and a final Big Ten on CBS game November 28. Most CBS broadcasts will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET.
UCLA enters Week 8 undefeated at 6-0 and has earned a spot in CBS Sports' latest College Football Playoff projection. The Bruins' defense has limited Oregon and Wisconsin in consecutive games. Michigan State, coached by first-year head Pat Fitzgerald, is 0-4 in Big Ten play but has made recent strides. UCLA will play without starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava due to injury. Running back Wayne Knight has scored in every UCLA game this season.
The Nebraska-Iowa rivalry game carries historical weight. Since Nebraska joined the Big Ten in 2011, the teams have met 15 times, with 10 contests decided by eight points or fewer and six decided by a field goal. The rivalry will be hosted in Iowa City on November 27 at noon ET. Last season Iowa defeated Nebraska 40-16 in a game that reflected the teams' different health statuses, as Iowa finished with a top-25 record while Nebraska ended 2-5 with backup quarterbacks.
CBS Sports will also broadcast coverage of the Pac-12, including nonconference games and the Pac-12 Championship Game. The network will carry three Commander-in-Chief's Trophy games between Army, Navy and Air Force, with the Army-Navy game scheduled for MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
