TYLOO's withdrawal from a HyperX Retake Season 13 quarter-final in Lisbon has left their invitation to the PGL Major Singapore in doubt, according to Esports Insider. The report says neither TYLOO nor Lynn Vision is expected to play again before the cutoff, which it describes as effectively ending Asia's qualification race.
The Lisbon event was a Valve Tier 2 tournament run by Hyped and PEW PEW. It ran from 29 October to 1 November with 13 teams and a €12,187.50 prize pool. TYLOO are listed in joint fifth to eighth place.
Natus Vincere also withdrew from Lisbon. The report says the organisers cited the same IEM Beijing commitment for both teams. NAVI were still registered after the 19 October withdrawal deadline, and the report says their Major chances are unchanged.
IEM Beijing runs from 2 to 8 November at the Bloomage Biotech Biohyalux ECM Arena. It is an S-Tier, Valve Tier 1 event with 16 teams playing for $1,250,000.
In Europe, Europe holds 18 of the 32 Singapore invitations. The six highest-ranked eligible European teams in the 2 November standings go directly into Stage 3. According to the report, the European VRS now places 100 Thieves 18th, which ended fnatic's hopes. Fnatic sat 18th before the final weekend with no matches left, and their only route in required a 100 Thieves defeat and favorable recalculated standings. Neither occurred.
Moscow Cyber Games produced a Major qualifier. Winners 1win earned a Stage 2 invitation to Singapore, and HOTU finished second.
The Singapore Major runs from 24 November to 13 December, with 32 teams and $1,250,000 in prize money.
