Prisco, the CBS Sports picks columnist, went 9-7 straight up but just 4-11-1 against the spread in Week 4, dropping his season ATS record to 25-37-2 overall. He remains 38-26-0 on straight-up picks.

For Week 5, Prisco forecasts 16 games across the NFL slate. He picks the Jaguars to beat the Eagles 4-1, citing Philadelphia's injury toll including the retirement of right tackle Lane Johnson and noting Jacksonville's second-ranked scoring defense. He expects the Packers to upset the Bears, saying Jordan Love will have "a big day throwing it" and flagging Chicago's performance without Caleb Williams. The Texans defeat the Titans, the Bengals beat Miami despite receiver injuries to Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase, and the Patriots edge the Raiders to reach 3-2.

Prisco also picks the Cardinals over the Saints behind Kyler Murray's performance against Minnesota's top defense, the Jets to upset the Browns at home after two straight road losses, and the Steelers over the Colts on extra rest, led by Aaron Rodgers. He selects the Giants to beat the Commanders on the road at 4-1 with Jameis Winston starting, and the Chargers to win at home versus the Broncos out of desperation and Los Angeles' need to "quiet the critics."

The Lions outscore the Cardinals in a shootout with Jared Goff. Prisco picks the Seahawks over the undefeated 49ers at home, calling it "an enormous division game." If Lamar Jackson cannot play for Baltimore, Prisco expects Derrick Henry to lead a rally over the Falcons on a short week.

In prime-time games, the Rams edge the Bills on "MNF" with late-game plays by Matt Stafford and Josh Allen combining for high scoring, and the Cowboys defeat the Buccaneers on Thursday night, with rookie Jalon Daniels making his first road start for Tampa Bay.
