Sentinels signed former Cloud9 duelist Francis "OXY" Hoang on November 2, the first day of the VCT off-season transfer window, according to the source. The club announced the signing on X the same day.
Cloud9 did not receive a partnership slot for the new cycle, which freed OXY to join a partnered team. Sentinels is one of eight Americas partners for 2027–2028.
Riot Games selected 32 partner organizations for 2027, with eight each in the Americas, EMEA, Pacific and China. More than 100 teams submitted interest. With OXY, the roster includes johnqt, Reduxx and cortezia. Manager Bryan "Zyto" Ybanez remains with the team. One roster spot is still open.
Sentinels finished 9th–10th in Stage 1 with a 2-3 group record and 7th–8th in Stage 2 with another 2-3 record. Its season ended on August 22 with a 0-2 loss to KRÜ Esports in the Play-Ins.
