NAVI knocked Team Spirit out of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 by winning the 2-2 decider of the Swiss stage, according to HLTV.org. Spirit entered the match ranked world No. 1 by HLTV.org. NAVI took the opening map on Cache, Spirit levelled on Dust2, and NAVI closed the series on Anubis. HLTV reported that this was Spirit's first defeat to NAVI since February 2025.
NAVI now face Vitality in the quarter-finals. Vitality will field Justinas "jL" Lekavicius as a stand-in. The organisation announced in August that he would fill in at BLAST Open Porto and PGL Masters Bucharest.
NAVI started with 2-0 wins over G2 and FURIA, and their second map against G2 went to three overtimes. They then lost 2-0 to BetBoom and 2-0 to Vitality, which left them in the 2-2 pool.
Esports Insider reports that teams eliminated at 2-3 in the Swiss stage receive US$31,250 if they finish ninth to eleventh. Losing quarter-finalists receive US$50,000.
The other quarter-final ties are Nemiga v FUT, Aurora v MOUZ and BetBoom v FURIA.
