Karmine Corp swept CTBC Flying Oyster 2-0 at Worlds 2026 on Thursday 29 October, eliminating the last LCP team left in the tournament. The French-based side now sit at 2-2 in the Swiss Stage, one best-of-three away from the quarter-finals.

The Round 4 tie began at 20:05 and needed only two games. KC won the first in 28 minutes and closed out the second in 37. CFO had the higher seed and took first pick for game one, which put KC on the blue side. KC finished that opener with 18 kills to CFO's three, according to GosuGamers.

The result ends a two-match losing run for KC, which had beaten Anyone's Legend in its opener before losing single games in Rounds 2 and 3. They now have three wins and two losses at the event.

Riot Games uses a five-round Swiss format, and a team with three losses is knocked out. This was CFO's third defeat, following losses to Movistar KOI and T1 after an opening win over Team Liquid. Before Worlds, CFO's last two results came in LCP Split 3 2026: a 3-1 win over MVK Esports and a 0-3 defeat to Team Secret Whales.

Esports Insider cites the Elo power rankings, which place KC 10th with a rating of 1796 and CFO 54th at 1638. The two teams had previously met at the First Stand 2025 knockout stage on 15 March 2025, when KC won 3-2.

KC reached the Swiss Stage through the Play-In, opening with a five-game win over Cloud9 on 15 October 2026. They then beat MVK Esports 3-0 in both the Upper Bracket Final and the Grand Final. Their roster is Canna, Yike, Busio, Caliste and Kyeahoo.

Reaching three match wins sends a team to the Knockout Stage. KC need one more win to qualify, and one more loss would end their campaign. The opponent for KC's decider on Saturday was still to be confirmed when Round 4 ended. All Swiss Stage matches are played in Allen, Texas. Quarter-finals run from 3 to 6 November, starting at 10.00pm UTC, and the final is at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday 14 November at 7.00pm UTC. The prize pool totals US$5 million, with US$1 million going to the champions.
